Needle keeps breaking when free motion quilting. my needle breaks. Dec 19, 2025 · So I've been trying to do some free motion quilting and with the rulers. I’m using this Sulky 12w thread for free motion quilting and I’m finding my thread keeps breaking. It looks like it gets tangled in the bobbin area but I cannot find a reason for this.
