Bergara Hmr Forum - I have been seeing a lot more Bergara I recently picked up my first rifle capable of "ELR" shooting. The I picked up the HMR recently and am still wringing out loads for it. Hmr stock has a good feel but I like the thought of lighter for hunting. 5" at 100 yards regardless of the seating depth. 5 creedmoor. While the rifle is quite accurate I would say the action is far from smooth. Keep the Bergara and get a lightweight rifle instead of trying to trim weight off of the Bergara. I The Bergara trigger is decent, but my understanding is that it is not quite as nice as the Tikka, and many folks upgrade them.
